Anotherblock makes it possible for everyone to invest in music. We work together with rightsholders (producers, writers, artists, etc.) who divest a percentage of their streaming rights to us, which we fractionalize and distribute via the blockchain. The streaming rights are released as NFTs and all holders will receive regular payments, every 6 months, based on the streaming revenue. Previously, catalogs were only accessible to whales, we’re bringing catalog collecting to the people!
Rightsholders sell parts of their streaming royalties from the digital service providers (e.g. spotify, apple music, tidal) on anotherblock. you can buy the streaming royalties in the form of NFTs containing additional assets and utilities. once you own an NFT, you can enjoy the benefits and claim royalties generated by the song - for life. if you want to, you can sell your NFT on a third-party marketplace. once it’s sold, the new owner will receive royalties and enjoy the additional benefits that come with it.
