We are so happy to have everyone in the Damn It Community. We are both young people with dreams who poured our hearts and passion into Web3. We appreciate the value of direct communication with the free spirit.
After the launch, we got great support from all of you. The collection even reached the Trending Top 10 on Opensea. The team has been working hard on the product, all hodlers will benefit. We hope you will appreciate and enjoy it, in terms of value and identity.
In the past few days, we had talks and research with many of the hodlers. With all the valuable and creative ideas, we compiled a new plan for the future.
First of all, we will get more users who value the culture of Damn It and join us in building a decentralized community with a unique culture and value.
Next, we will have more builders join #cocreate and share the profits.
In the future, we will build a platform for all of us to create and share masterpieces in the metaverse. The Damn It NFT will be the entry pass.
Hodlers will be the core part of the community. We will launch a brand new collection as a replacement and they will be totally free for the OGs.
The new collection includes 6000 new Damn It NFTs. It has more elements, rarities, and 1/1 works. The project team will retain 10% of them for events and business development. Among them, 10 1/1 works will be reserved and randomly dropped to hodlers later.
The public mint stage of the older collection will be stopped after this letter. To avoid duplication of elements, the old one will not be revealed.
Firstly, freemint, allowlist mint, and those swept from the aftermarket will get twice the amount of the new NFTs.
Then hodlers who public mint at 0.02 ETH will receive 4 times the amount of the new NFTs.
Thirdly, considering that some hodlers have not verified roles in the #get-roles channel in Discord, we will reserve a corresponding amount for these users to swap later.
Hodlers of the old collection who successfully swap to the new one will get a special role with special benefits. The new role plan will be announced after the new collection is launched.
Lastly, all the rest of the new NFTs after the swap will go to the public mint. The public mint price will be determined through community vote (eg: a. floor price on the day of announcement b. freemint c. new projects not accepted), and the voting will start in three days after the announcement.
